Antigonish Evergreen Inn

That blueberry scone was the best I’ve ever tried, and the small touches around the inn made the stay feel special. We spent 5 days at the Antigonish Evergreen Inn, where the room was spotless and comfortable, with a cared-for, homey feel. The shower pressure was excellent, too. Everything felt welcoming from the start, and it was a quiet, cozy place that made our time in Antigonish more enjoyable. We’d absolutely return.

The kitchenette was a real convenience, and breakfast was plentiful, with homemade muffins and scones. We stayed one night in early August 2025, a family of four with two kids. The rooms were much nicer than in many hotels, with thoughtful comfort touches throughout. The host was very nice, and we’ll visit again if we’re in the area.

Breakfast was set out in the main foyer, with bread and bagels for the toaster, cereal, yogurt, homemade baked goods, and porridge with lots of mix-ins. There was coffee, tea, and juice, and eggs were available on request. Linda and her husband made sure everyone was looked after. Our room was impeccably clean, and the equipped kitchenette was handy, even though we only used the sink. It would make washing bottles easy for anyone traveling with babies or kids. We were there briefly, after driving straight from the North Sydney ferry so we could see the Bay of Fundy the next morning. There were lots of nice touches, and I’d stay again if we were in the area.

You can see how much this place is cared for in the cleanliness and all the small details. It’s beautiful and has everything you need. I’ll definitely stay here agin when I’m in the area.
