Econo Lodge

There was a faint cigarette smell in the room. The window was open, so it may have drifted in from outside. Otherwise, the room was clean, the staff super friendly, and breakfast was ok.

That this place feels like home seems clear from the elderly couple I met, who return to Taber each year to see their kids but choose to stay here instead of with them. I spent four nights at the Econo Lodge in Taber on a business trip, and the warm welcome from the husband-and-wife team and their family made a real difference. They greet every guest personally. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with great bedding. The owners clearly care about the property and guests. Their Choice group awards seem well deserved. This is more than just somewhere to sleep, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taber.

Mintu went out of his way to keep the breakfast area clean and fully stocked. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The outside makes the hotel look a little older, but inside the rooms are clean, modern, and very nice. The sheets were so soft and comfortable that I slept great. At check-in the staff were really friendly, and it felt like being with family.
