Taber Motel

I was just passing through and needed something cheap. Even at 8 at night, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very nice. When I booked, she was sweet, and we even laughed at my ID photo. The room was super clean and nice, with hot water and good shower pressure. Nicest motel I’ve ever stayed in, and very cheap. I’d stay again if I needed an affordable place to bunk for the night.

After a bad experience at econo lodge at lethbridge, we found this place and finally spoke with someone who knew her job. The front desk communicated well and understood what we needed. Since they were fully booked for the taber corn fest, the girl told us in advance how long we could stay in the room. No complaints about our nearly two-week stay.

The bakery is always packed, and it’s easy to see why. There’s great food, from chocolate chip cookies and lovely birthday cakes to all kinds of buns, too many to list. If we’re anywhere in the area, we go out of our way to stop there. Gotta try it!

It’s an older motel, but being just off the main highway and close to everything and everyone suited us perfectly. We needed to be in town near family and were very happy with the location. The management were welcoming, the price was great for what we got, and thanks for the chocolates!
