We loved the hikes around Tadoussac, and the All Trails app was very accurate. The whale watching zodiac trip was great too, and we saw whales, including belugas. For dinner, Ludivine at La Merveilleuse gave us recommendations that met and even exceeded our expectations. If you’re a foodie or not, Chez Mathilde is worth a visit despite the price. Matthew was an excellent server. We stayed three nights, Sept 7 to 10. Covid had made tourism difficult that year, but our room was just what we expected and felt comfortable and safe. The views were amazing, we were close to everything, and parking worked out better than we’d hoped. We’d heard the pub below might be noisy, but we had no problems with noise.

We could walk to the seafront in about 10 seconds, and spotted Minke whales from the Pointe de L'Islet trail. Nice restaurants were only a few minutes away, and parking was easy. Charlotte made Pavillion 2 available at the last minute, and it was much nicer than the two motels we’d stopped at earlier. The room was spacious, stylish, quiet, and well equipped. The shower was the nicest I’ve ever used. Thanks, we’ll be back!

The kitchen was great, and everything inside was clean and cozy. We stayed at la Merveilleuse with friends and had a wonderful time. We could watch whales from the balcony every day, and top up our beer at the brewery downstairs when we needed to. 😊

We rented the whole house during a winter snowmobile trip with our group, and it worked out perfectly. Every room was lovely and had its own bathroom. I hope we can do it again sometime.

The bay view was amazing, the staff were super friendly, and breakfast was healthy and homemade. Our room was well equipped, though a little small, but you’re meant to be outside enjoying the scenery anyway. The wooden horse was beautiful too. A perfect base for visiting the Tadoussac area.
