Auberge sur le lac Témiscouata

We were so grateful that the host and hostess took us in at the last minute and were so generous. They made amazing crepes, and our cozy, clean room gave us the most wonderful sleep. A 10/10 stay for us 🫶, no cap.

We chose the “table d’hôte” for both dinners, and the dishes were truly delicious, easily restaurant quality. Breakfast was great too. In June, just before “season” in Témis, we spent a magnificent weekend at the Auberge. Our room was quiet, had a good bed, and was impeccably clean. We also took several photos of the lake from our lovely balcony. The house’s e-bikes were in great shape and reasonably priced. We rode from the house to the “traversé du lac” in Notre-Dame, followed the other shore into the national park, stopped for coffee at the visitor’s center, then rode back. We still had plenty of charge, so we never had to worry about losing our boost for the hills, which we appreciate in our 50s. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold, though it looked nice. And “Mayo,” the house mascot, is just about the friendliest dog you could ask for. Recommended!

We only got to stay for one night, but I’m sure we’ll be back. The room was immaculate and well equipped, the lake view was stunning, and our hosts were gracious.

The owners were so kind and generous, and the view was amazing. We enjoyed every day we spent here, and the breakfasts were really good.
