The pool sounded appealing, but it’s tiny, with just three lounge chairs and nowhere else to sit. The water was warm. The Bistro Martini Grill was another letdown, with undercooked bacon and sausages. We paid over $300 a night, and after our card had been charged, we were told a holiday party was happening right below our two-bed room. They warned us about the noise and offered a one-bed room instead, which didn’t work for three of us traveling for a hockey tournament. I called at 10 PM and was told the music would end at 11, but at 11:15 it was still blasting, with bass shaking the room. When I raised it at the desk, the staff member seemed offended and brought up complaints about the hockey team. My child was in our room trying to sleep at 9 PM. If there were concerns, they should have spoken with the coach, not used them to brush off our noise complaint. The room itself was old and poorly maintained. The bathroom grout was yellow and dirty, and we woke up on the bare mattress because the beds didn’t have proper sheets. I did get a discount after complaining, but it didn’t make up for the stay. I regret booking here and wouldn’t recommend it, especially for families or sports teams who need rest.

We had a great stay in January 2026, and check-in was easy. The room was very clean, service was great, and parking was free. The hotel seemed almost empty when my family and I stayed in room 402, though I did wonder why we were given it when other rooms looked available. Room 402 faces highway 640, and the noise came right through the poor insulation. The bedroom heater added to it, and its temperature kept changing. I couldn’t turn it off because the room got cold so quickly. The hotel is good overall, though a little expensive for the quality. Avoid rooms facing 640 and you should have a great experience.

The oat milk latte at the restaurant was a real highlight, one of the best we’ve had. We stopped at Impéria Hôtel while traveling from Quebec City to Montreal, and it made for a warm, comfortable stay. We’re from Washington, DC, and it was our first time staying in the Montreal area. The room was super clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend it.
