I rarely post negative reviews, but people should know what happened during my stay at Milan Garden inn at 13055 Lundy’s Ln Niagara Falls on May 25, 2025. I was extremely disappointed by the hotel’s condition and the manager’s rude, unprofessional behavior. The room wasn’t clean when I arrived, with stained sheets and dust everywhere. When I politely raised it at the front desk, the manager was dismissive and disrespectful. They raised their voice, made sarcastic remarks, blamed me, and asked for more money instead of apologizing or trying to fix the problem. I tried to stay patient and respectful, but the treatment was unacceptable. I felt uncomfortable and left after about half a day. A hospitality business should make guests feel welcome, not stressed and disrespected. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The room cost me $1,200 a month and was way overpriced for a lousy space measuring only 147" by 158", about the size of two jail cells put together. The owner is conceited and rude, with a “not my problem” attitude. Mosquitoes and cockroaches were in the room. There wasn’t even a smoke detector, which is required by law. I have four bicycles, and the owner gets pissed off at me for having them. Do yourself a favour and stay away, and tell others to avoid this place. One good thing, if you’re a train enthusiast, is that you can look out the bathroom window and watch a freight train go by.

The bed kept me awake all night, and the pillows were far too soft and clearly due for replacement. I asked for a 30-minute checkout extension to 11:30 because my Zoom business meeting ended then, but the man refused and was unfriendly and inconsiderate. There were only three cars in the lot, which makes sense given the experience. I wouldn't recommend this motel or return.

The room had a moldy smell and was cold for hours while the baseboard heaters slowly warmed it up. There were very few local TV channels, and the location is a bit far from any stores.
