The rooms are cozy and the hotel is decent, but the staff are what really make this a great place to stay. Lakshita was especially kind when we arrived late at night with our pets. She made us feel like family. I’ve never had such a good experience with a hotel employee, and I’ll stay here whenever I’m in Timmins. Great staff mean everything.

We paid $300 for one night with my girlfriends and our small dog on the pet-friendly floor, and the place had some serious problems. The hallway looked like it hadn’t been touched in years, while outside the building was falling apart so badly that you could see the rebar in the concrete. In the bathroom, neither the sink nor the tub had cold water, only hot. How do they justify that price?

The breakfast staff made a huge difference for our family. They were wonderful with my two children, helped them feel welcome, and made them breakfast. When our youngest got upset, they offered to take him to watch a show so we could finish eating. The staff were outstanding, and I highly recommend this place for families.

The meals were good, and the woman serving us was nice. When our room’s TV stopped working, we told the front office and technician Mr. Adel came to replace it. Overall I was happy with the service. It would be better if the room had two chairs.

The entrance might give the wrong impression, but this is a great place with everything you need. It’s definitely outdated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was pretty incredible. Thanks, I’ll be back.
