Breakfast was one of the best we've had at any of the many B&Bs we've stayed in, and W & W prepared it themselves. Wins and Wavey were superb hosts. Wins gave us a thorough rundown of things to do in the area. Our room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom, and we had a quiet night. We'd heartily recommend Hillside B & B.

I paid for a room in September 2023 for a July 2024 trip, then only yesterday, less than a month before we were due to arrive, the B&B emailed to say they couldn't honor the reservation because of "unforeseen circumstances". Now I'm left scrambling to find somewhere else on very short notice. They didn't offer to help with that, just wished me "every success in finding other suitable accommodations". Be very careful about booking this B&B.

The breakfast was okay, but there was no choice. Winston was very nice and friendly. Wavey seemed unhappy we were there and had given our room away because she didn't think we were coming, though that was corrected when we arrived. The 'Rose' room is on the main floor, and you hear EVERYTHING from the two rooms upstairs. We're not light sleepers, but seriously considered sleeping in our car. Wavey wouldn't move us upstairs, even though we'd asked for an upstairs room in emails and phone calls since 2020. Somehow she had lost all our contact details, phone number, and credit card number, but knew we were coming. Sorry, can't recommend this as the noisiest B&B we've ever stayed in.

My in-laws had a wonderful anniversary weekend here. The owner went out of her way to pick up the anniversary gift I sent them and bring it to their room. Wonderful service!

Breakfast was warm, welcoming, and delicious, and our room felt comfortable and homey. It's a lovely historic house, spotlessly clean, and Wavey and Winston were excellent hosts. They gave us maps and advice on the sights and attractions. There's plenty to do in Twillingate, and the scenery is amazing. There were lots of linens in the washroom. We'd definitely stay again.
