We spent two nights at the Inn with several girlfriends and had such a great time. The owners' hospitality made the stay unforgettable, and Lynn, Craig, Tim, Mike & family made us feel so welcome. The Inn is warm and inviting, the complimentary breakfast is delicious, satisfying, and healthy, and the Pub dinners and wine are outstanding. The burgers are beyond perfection, and the sticky toffee pudding is the best you'll ever taste. Val David has plenty to offer in every season, from cross-country skiing to hiking and biking. It's truly a four-season destination, as are the Inn & Pub. We'll be back again and again. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️

The owners are such a warm, lovely young couple, and the food is stellar. It reminds me of the wonderful cooking I grew up with. The whole dining experience is worth every penny, especially the food. Prices are fair, though not cheap and above what you might expect to pay for an average Brasserie plate. If you're in the laurentians, this is a must for a meal out. It's the best place I've eaten in a year, and I'll be back. Thank you Tim and Lindsay.

This family-run place has a lovely river view, and the personal attention makes that clear. Parking behind the building is very limited, though there is enough parking less than 200 metres away. The menu is small, but the portions and quality are excellent. The staff are all bilingual, which helped me while I'm still learning French. It's a quaint, friendly spot with the warm hospitality of the Laurentians. I'll certainly return for the ambiance.

The Scotch egg and sticky toffee pudding drew us in, and both were so well done. It's rare to find them in Quebec. We enjoyed the mostly traditional British dishes, especially the fish and chips, which lived up to its reputation, and the chicken and leek pie with its own tiny pitcher of jus. The waterfall-side setting is idyllic, and it's great to see such a motivated team bring it back to life. Their enthusiasm for the idea comes through during the meal. One of the co-owners even recommended a fantastic digestif to go with dessert. The place feels a little like Montreal in this setting, in a good way, while the prices certainly aren't big-city prices. I don't know whether they've adjusted them after some comments, but we were absolutely stuffed. Three beers, a cocktail, a whiskey, two mains, an appetizer, and dessert cost well under what we'd pay elsewhere for similar quality, originality, and experience. Service was friendly and excellent. We like supporting the other great options in town too, but we'll have to fit this place in among our favorites.

On a cold, sunny day, my son and I stopped in for an early meal and sat at the bar. The place is charming, and I was looking forward to a pint of Guinness. The barman poured one for another customer as we sat down, and it looked beautifully done. We ordered a Scotch Egg to start and Steak Frites for our mains. The egg was the best I've ever had, with perfect sausage, soft-boiled egg, and creamy yolk. The Guinness was gorgeous too, with a great creamy head that clung to the glass as I drank. Then the steak arrived, beautifully plated with good sides. My son and I looked at each other, it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Delicious, full stop. I can't wait to go back.
