The lamb was a standout, and the food was well prepared with generous portions. Getting around was easy too, with transport and major attractions nearby. Our room felt spacious for an inner-city hotel, with a large modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Even on the ninth floor it was quiet and restful. The staff were attentive without hovering, and everyone worked together smoothly to make our stay good. We absolutely loved it and would come back tomorrow.

The hydro restaurant was exceptional, and the hotel is well located for an easy walk to good areas. They kindly upgraded our room for our anniversary, and both the service and room were amazing. The one downside was the central air-conditioning, which couldn’t be turned all the way off.

The location made it easy to reach nearly all of Vancouver’s famous places, whether walking, taking the sky train, or catching a bus. The elevator was high-tech and easy to use, too. Our room felt both luxurious and cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout. I’d never experienced heated flooring in a restroom at a hotel before, and it was a real treat. The service staff were friendly and helpful, and made us feel valued. We’d be delighted to return.

The location made exploring easy. We walked to Stanley Park, rented bikes, and found happy hour nearby, with the waterfront and mall easy to reach too. The area felt clean and safe, with a great vibe. After checkout, the staff stored our luggage so we could keep looking around before our ride arrived, and the nicely decorated lobby was a comfortable place to wait. We loved our stay at EXchange Hotel Vancouver and would absolutely come back. The room was beautiful, clean, calm, and comfortable, with a great bed and everything well maintained. I especially appreciated the heated bathroom floor in winter after a shower. The water stayed warm, the soaps smelled lovely, and I only wished for a little more water pressure. It was a small thing next to everything else. Housekeeping was wonderful too. The kind Filipina housekeeper happily brought extra towels and water when we asked. The staff made a great first impression, from the kind, attentive concierge and front desk team to the little thoughtful gestures, like pressing the elevator buttons for us and offering umbrellas. There were always several people at the desk, and everyone seemed glad to help. We arrived late after a long flight, and the desk suggested nearby 24-hour Breka Bakery & Café. It was perfect for a late-night treat, so good that we returned three times. The lavender latte and desserts were amazing, and having it within walking distance was a bonus. The gym had all the machines and equipment we wanted, and was better stocked than most hotel gyms. We also had dinner at Hydra Estiatorio. The tender lamb and flavorful appetizers were delicious, and I’d go back to try more from the menu. The stay felt easy and welcoming, and we’re already thinking of coming back soon.
