2400 Motel

It's got that nostalgic 1940s feel, tucked into its own little community in the middle of the city, but it doesn't come with a history of filth. The room was unexpectedly clean, and even smelled clean! I've paid twice as much for a room that wasn't fit for my dog at Ramada by Wyndham, Abbotsford, possibly the filthiest hotel I've stayed in. The 2400 Motel is charming, come stay!

I booked through an application on January 21 and paid over $450 for one room, including a $300 smoking insurance deposit even though I don't smoke. The service provider said the deposit would be refunded within 2/3 days, but a month and a half later they were still saying there was a problem. Make sure your request is correct before you pay. The room was dirty, and the bed smelled uncomfortable.

Absolutely disgusting, the biggest dump I've ever stayed in. You can't control the heat in your room. They crank it up, so you have to open the windows to cool down, but the windows don't have screens. I wouldn't stay here even if they paid me 100 dollars a night.

It was cold enough that my teeth were chattering, and I couldn't adjust the thermostat. We got back late from our venue, so I didn't want to bother anyone. The main ceiling light and the outside door light didn't work, and the outlet was loose enough that I had to bend the lamp plug to keep it in. It was fine otherwise, but not for the price, which felt too high for a room with so few amenities. No fridge or microwave, and it came to about $220 for one night including taxes.
