Hilton Vancouver Downtown

The staff really stood out during my stay. They were respectful, friendly, and attentive, and made me feel welcome from arrival through the whole visit. Their warm, professional service made a great trip even better. The location was excellent and made it easy to explore, close to everything. My room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, a good place to unwind after a long day.

The pool area is really nicely designed. The stay was good overall and the hotel looks great at first, though a few things could use attention. Some staff could be more attentive to guests, the bathtub faucet in room 407 is loose, and the hotel app doesn’t always work properly.

The location worked really well for us, with the waterfront under a 20-minute walk away and the Steam Clock less than 15 minutes away. Our room was clean, the city view was great, the mini fridge was reasonably priced, and the double queen beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a separate shower and tub. That tub came in handy after we were locked out of the pool at 9:50 PM, even though it was meant to close at 10 and we could still see kids splashing inside. No bubble bath, but the body wash did the job. Front desk and bar staff were friendly and efficient, and Saturday night’s live music gave the bar a fun feel. The gym being open 24 hours was a plus. Self-parking cost $39 CAD. The elevators moved quickly once we were in, but there were only two for all those floors, so we waited 2 to 3 minutes several times. A solid stay, though the pool timing and elevator wait kept it from being five stars.

Jenny made a real difference to our trip with fantastic food and great suggestions for things to do locally. Arif Ismail also gave us excellent service and spot-on food recommendations, and we really appreciated his care and attention. Tim at the concierge desk was friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton in Downtown Vancouver, BC. It’s right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and local attractions, which made exploring Vancouver easy and enjoyable. We felt welcome from beginning to end and will definitely return. I’d highly recommend this Hilton to anyone visiting Vancouver.
