Housekeeping kept my room immaculate, and every detail showed care. That same sense of responsibility came through in all the service I received at The Douglas Hotel, from the valet team to the front desk. They were welcoming, professional, and efficient, and the person who checked me in was especially warm and attentive. Check-in felt easy and enjoyable. The staff clearly take pride in looking after guests and are very well trained. I had a five-star stay from beginning to end, and the service is why I’ll recommend The Douglas and come back.

The consistent quality and welcoming service make the whole stay a great experience. Annabel in housekeeping is attentive, warm, and always does more than expected. Eis at the front desk is just as helpful and professional, from arrival through checkout. We’ll be back and would definitely recommend it.

The look of the place isn't really my style as a girly girl, and I wish the rooms had actual fridges instead of just the yeti, plus more closet space. Still, I keep coming back because the staff are so gracious and friendly, and the service keeps exceeding my expectations. Everyone I've dealt with has been willing to go above and beyond. That's real hospitality.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent rooms and a location I’d gladly recommend. My stay was let down by a billing problem and the lack of follow-through from management and accounting. I prepaid before arriving, so I wasn’t expecting any further charge, but $709 was charged to my card for my stay at the end of January. Staff have not been able to explain or account for it. By February 19th I still hadn’t received a refund. The lack of resolution and accountability has been very frustrating. I’d advise guests to watch their card statements carefully. The hotel is lovely, but this issue affected my experience significantly.
