Times Square Suites Hotel

We stayed for 3/4. The location is good, just minutes on foot from parks, stores, and the beach. The front staff were friendly and helpful, and the underground parking felt very secure. Housekeeping was top notch. The kitchen had everything needed to cook, and I loved the gas fireplace and ceiling fan. There was a fair bit of traffic noise at night, though I didn’t mind it. I shopped around, and at the time this hotel was the lowest price for the suit with ugp. Recommend.

What makes Time Square Suites special is how warm, welcoming, and professional the staff are. Many have worked there for years, which says a lot about how management treats them, and that consistency makes for a lovely atmosphere. I’ve recommended it to lots of people over the years, and every one has come back with glowing feedback. The location is hard to beat. Stanley Park, English Bay, restaurants, shopping, a local spa, and even my favorite hairdresser, Darios at Enchante Hair By Design, are steps away. The apartment-style suites are beautiful, spacious, spotless, and comfortable. In-suite laundry and a fully stocked kitchen are especially useful for longer stays. The cozy living room has a fireplace, and having flat-screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom is a nice touch. I’ve stayed here for years, and it really feels like my home away from home. When my husband and I got married a few years ago, we booked four or five suites for our family. Everyone loved their stay, which made that special time even more memorable. The rooftop patio was a great place for a family BBQ. If you want comfort and convenience in a place that feels like home in Vancouver, Time Square Suites is it. Highly, highly recommend!

The staff are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The location is great for walking to restaurants, and there’s a Safeway right across the street. My favorite nearby spot is Brekka Cafe, one block west. It’s open 24 hours and works well for breakfast or late-night snacks, with great baking to stock the kitchen. This downtown Vancouver gem used to be an apartment building, so there’s little to no lobby and the “front desk” is downstairs in the basement. The check-in process is unusual, but convenient if you’re driving and using the parkade. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with a drip coffee maker. Ask the front desk for bags of regular or decaffeinated grounds. Bathrooms have a blow dryer and full-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There are umbrellas in the utility closet, and laundry and dishwasher detergent is provided. There’s no sugar or cream, so bring those, and if you’re staying a while, I’d bring a roll of paper towel too. Housekeeping is once weekly, but the desk is happy to help if you need anything. There’s construction behind the hotel right now that starts at 7 am, so light sleepers can ask the staff for earplugs. Chromecast in the rooms is a nice feature. We stayed for a week this past November and will be back for another week in February. Times Square Suites Hotel will be our go-to place in Vancouver from now on.

A brilliant place on Denman Street, close to Stanley Park and public transport. The rooms had a full kitchen and lounge, and the rooftop seating and BBQ area was fully equipped and wonderful. With Safeway across the road, self-catering was easy. You need a key fob to enter the building. I’d definitely stay here again.
