The bedbugs were the worst part, but getting checked in was awful too. I waited around 20 minutes because nobody was at the front desk. On my first night, I woke up covered in swollen, itchy bites. When I checked the bed after work the next day, I saw tiny red bugs all over it. I was only in town for a quick job with my rig, and this was a miserable problem to deal with. I told the front desk, but they didn't offer a refund. I had to ask for a free meal, and even then they hesitated. They dried my belongings, but I still have everything outside in the freezing cold, trying to keep the bugs from getting into my home and my children's beds. The service was horrible. I think this place should be torn down. I'm never staying here again.

It was quiet enough and worked as a place to sleep and use as a home base while I was there. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the price was average. The property and grounds are pretty neglected, though, with an old building, rough parking lot, and unkempt grass. Not a place you'd want to hang out, unless maybe you're into VLTs.

I've stayed at this Garden Inn vegreville Motel many times, but I won't be back. I went into the lounge in the early afternoon and couldn't get service from the bartender. She was talking and kissing a guy I thought might be her boyfriend. When I finally got her attention at the bar, she ignored me at first, then acted moody and rude. Other customers I spoke to said they found her really rude too. I told the staff at my company, and we won't stay at the Vegreville Garden Inn anymore. It's too bad this comes down to poor customer service from one staff member. I hope the owner takes note.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The room was too hot, though, and I'm not sure the thermostat worked. The driveway is hard to spot at night, and some upgrades would help.

The first room had bugs in the bed. In the second, I found bedbugs as well as what looked like mold or burn marks.
