Wild Rose Inn

A train comes through at midnight and blows its horn the whole length of town. The motel is on two busy roads, and locals drive around with loud exhausts and stay up late. The motel itself is shabby, but the whole town is a problem. I can't recommend anything about the place.

At least the front desk gave us a refund promptly. The first room they offered absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke, even though the door had a no smoking sign. In the replacement room, the sheets were dirty, the coffee maker was bagged in a way that made it look like there might be insects, and the windows wouldn't lock.

The crew were really nice and polite, and it's an affordable place where you can feel comfortable, even though it has no frills. The room came with a coffee maker, coffee, a bottle of water, a clean bathroom, and a bed. There's also a microwave and toaster in each room. Some rooms have a sink and electric stove if you need those. It has everything you could ask for on a short or long stay.

The room was very clean and reasonably priced, and the front desk offered to show it to me. The location is central to everything. I'll definitely stay here whenever I'm in the area again.
