Inn at Laurel Point

We had a great stay at this lovely hotel, right on the water and in an amazing location. The whole staff was friendly and the customer service was terrific. There’s a nice little café inside and a great restaurant for dinner. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve stayed in the terrace suite overlooking Victoria Harbor twice now, and it may be one of the nicest rooms we’ve had anywhere. Watching seaplanes, ships, and boats come and go with the city behind them is breathtaking. The Inn At Laurel Point sits right on Victoria Harbor, just outside downtown and very close to the parliament building. The rooms are beautiful, the rates are great, and the staff are friendly and unpretentious. It’s one of our favorite hotels in the world, and I highly recommend it.

The standout for us was the staff. Everyone we met, from the front desk and housekeeping to the people catering the Christmas parties, was friendly and greeted us in the halls. We also saw an older gentleman fall in the lobby. The nearby staff responded right away and showed real concern, which helped a frightening, stressful moment go as well as it could. Our terrace bedroom suite in the Erickson wing was spacious and comfortable, with a king bed, a cozy sofa bed in the living room, and a lovely outdoor terrace. It was quiet too, and we didn’t hear the neighboring suites. We were able to bring our dog, who had treats, a bed, and dishes waiting at check-in. The common areas felt modern, clean, warm, and inviting, and the property itself is beautiful. One awkward part was having to walk past the Christmas party buffets whenever I went to and from our room. The parties looked fun, with buffet food and dessert trays, but our dog kept pulling toward crumbs. I wondered if there was another route to the Erickson wing that we didn’t know about. I also noticed they had fun party activities, including a separate quiet room for painting, which seemed like a nice option to offer. We were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back.

We booked several rooms for my sister’s 80th birthday and had a perfect time. Itsuki checked us in, upgraded one of the rooms, and arranged a lovely cheese plate for my sister. Her professionalism helped make the occasion feel magical. Thank you.
