Albatross Motel

After a grueling stretch of work during the Elvis Fest, I was so grateful to find this place. The owner even opened the pool so our team could unwind. The rooms were spacious, air conditioned, and felt incredibly clean, and the customer service was tremendous. I couldn't have asked for more. Go here!

Valda and her daughter Jessica were such cool cats, and we felt like part of the family. Jessica's Beautie Lounge Spa at the motel is absolutely worth a visit, and we're already talking about coming back soon. It was our best time ever in Wasaga Beach. The room had two double beds, working air conditioning, and a fridge that worked. I saw the owner air drying freshly washed linens over the swimming pool fence that morning. The pool uses salt water instead of chlorine, and the beach is less than a 10 minute walk away.

The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and we’d happily return. The room was super clean, parking felt safe, and the pool was nice. It’s about a three minute walk to the main beach and tourist area. We spent one night there over a long weekend.

I won’t try booking here again. When I called about a reservation for June 30th, the woman sighed and pointed out that it was a long weekend, as if I didn’t know. She put the phone down, and I could hear her and a coworker discussing whether to take my booking or hold the room in case a bigger group wanted it. When she came back, she said they were full. I asked about the conversation I’d heard, but she only repeated that they were booked. It left me feeling like my business wasn’t good enough.
