Deer island is unbelievably charming, and this is such a sweet little place to stay. I really recommend it! I especially appreciated the thoughtful details: the bathrooms have enough vanity space, which can be hard to find, and the fridges have milkers for morning coffee. I wish more hotels did that.

Sheena and her staff were so welcoming and thoughtful, and went out of their way to take care of our needs. The rooms were new and very clean. It's an idyllic spot with East Coast charm. The island is only accessible by ferry, but the ride is free. Just be sure to arrive before 10:30pm 🙂 It was absolutely worth the trip. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Homeport Suites & Residences was full of East Coast charm, with nautical decor and fresh caught local food at the Cap Sill restaurant downstairs. Our room was pristine, the beds were good quality, EV charging was out front, and service was prompt. The free ferry is only minutes away and runs every 30 minutes from dawn till dusk. I highly recommend visiting this island oasis. Take a drive to see the wharfs with their fishing boats and equipment, check out the Old Sow whirlpool, browse the local artisan shops, stay at Homeport Suites & Residences, and eat at the Cap Sill restaurant!

The restaurant downstairs is great, and the location on Deer Island is great too. The whole place feels luxurious, was priced fantastically, and is the best place we've ever stayed, seriously. It's dog friendly as well. The room was super clean and uncluttered, with plenty of space to set down a suitcase and unpack. There was lots of counter space in the bathroom, a very high end shower and sink, and an illuminated mirror. The bedding was cute and comfortable, and there were plenty of hooks for coats and purses, plus a small fridge. There's also a little communal deck at the back. The hallways have lovely fishing art and pictures. Checking in and out was simple with the door code emailed to us, so there was no need for a front desk. Just be aware there's a flight of stairs to the rooms at the back of the building.

Getting into the room was easy with contactless check in. We had a nice one night stay on the island in a very clean, modern room. All our rooms were upstairs, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs at the back of the building. That wasn't a problem for us, but it's good to know ahead of time.
