First Tracks Lodge, by Lodging Ovations

We’ve stayed here twice now and will be back. The units are spacious, quiet, and really clean, with everything we needed and two patios for morning and evening. The pool and hot tubs are well kept and work well for families. We love this place.

A 10 out of 10 for me. The rooms are roomy, clean, and well equipped, and the staff did their best to sort out anything we needed right away. The pool area has a great BBQ spot beside the hot tubs. The gym has everything for a good workout, and there’s a steam room to relax in after.

We chose First Tracks Lodge for a quiet stay, since Whistler is too busy and noisy for us. It’s only a few miles up the highway when you want to go into Whistler. Creekside is easy to walk around, and our room was awesome, with a great view of the pools and mountains. The pools were very nice too. We drove about 20 miles to Alexander Falls, south of here and up a side road. We also saw Brandywine and Shannon Falls on the drive in. If we vacation in the area again, we’ll stay here. I mentioned a few stains on the rug and one on the couch to the desk. After we checked out, they said they’d take care of it. We chose not to be disturbed, and we almost never use housekeeping during our stays.

First Tracks Lodge is right beside the Creekside Gondola, literally about 20 feet away. The rooms have a cozy lodge feel, with modern bathrooms, sleek stone and wood walls, comfortable furniture, and a forest out back. The pool is comfortable for swimming and not too cold, and there are two hot tubs, one for kids and one for adults. Staff are friendly and helpful. A must-stay.
