Field is such a beautiful, peaceful village. It hasn’t been redeveloped with malls or condos, so it sits gently against the mountain. I’m pretty sure mountaineers must be hired to do the landscaping and fence repairs. Fossil Guesthouse is right in the centre, with a cozy basement suite and friendly owners. Access is easy, and they’re understandably booked up a lot, so get in while you can!
