The outside looks nice, but inside the place feels worn out. Several things didn't work properly or at all, and maintenance seems to have been neglected. I couldn't get in touch with maintenance on a weekday because nobody was available. For what it costs, the place should be in better shape, with someone available for emergencies at any time.

Greystone Lodge is well maintained, and we enjoyed our long weekend there. The pool and hot tubs were in very good condition, and a trail leading to the chairlifts is very close to the building.

This was a ground-floor corner unit made up of two bedroom units with a shared common area. It was the cheapest option among the others and very reasonably priced. The village is about a 15-minute walk away, while the Blackstone Gondola is only five minutes away. The lodge is somewhat aged and could use a little work, with bedroom screens leaning against the building beside the windows, but those were minor inconveniences we could overlook. The unit was roomy and spacious, and we'd definitely rent it at Greystone Lodge again.

We had eight people in the two-bedroom, three-bed suite, plus a pullout couch, so it felt a bit cramped, but the place was still nice and functional. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, and the heated outdoor pool and hot tub were amazing and easy to get to. It's a ski-in, ski-out suite backing onto Whistler Blackcomb Mountain, around a 5-8 minute walk from the upper village. Just be aware that part of the walk goes up a hill, which was tough for some of the older and younger people in our family.

We stayed in room 315. It had plenty of space and was fairly clean, but it was very run down and far from what we expected. The carpets and furniture were old and stained, about half the bulbs didn't work, and neither did the ceiling fan. Since we were there in summer and it was hot and humid, the three portable fans they provided were helpful. The kitchen had lots of utensils and dishes, but there was no complimentary coffee or tea. The loft bedroom was okay, though the top window had no curtains, and summer sunlight woke us at ridiculous hours. The bathroom was clean, but the shower felt cramped, especially if you're over 6'0, and its light was out too. The worst part was the hairdryer. It malfunctioned while my boyfriend was using it, and something inside shattered or exploded. Thankfully he wasn't electrocuted; we unplugged it right away. At over $200 a night, I'd rather have stayed in a hotel nearby. Wouldn't recommend it.
