Riverside Resort

I’ve stayed at Riverside several times over the past few years in my sprinter van. The RV sites are spacious, each with a fire ring and picnic table. There are great amenities on site, including an area to hang out in the evening, a playground, laundry, and well-kept bathrooms and showers. The location is a big plus. The onsite Thia restaurant, Barn Nork, has amazing food. Nic North Clubhouse is a ten-minute walk and has a beautiful patio. The Village is a pretty thirty-minute walk along the valley trail, any time of year.

After a long ride, I was glad I pulled in here while passing through Whistler. The tent area sits among the trees, with shade, a peaceful feel, and the facilities close by. We spent two nights here and really liked how clean and quiet the campground was. There's a playground for the kids, and one of the cycling and walking paths runs right beside the grounds. We rode it to Olympic Village, about 2.7 km away. Would recommend staying here.

Our room was cozy and clean, and the price was very reasonable for a place with everything we needed. We arrived early in Whistler, so I asked a couple of weeks ahead about checking in early. They had the room ready and made the process easy. It's quiet here, about a 7-minute drive from the village. Indoor slippers would have been a nice extra, but otherwise we had a great stay and would come back.
