Town Plaza by MountainView

There are trails, a climber, swings, and courts for tennis and basketball, plus a clean, handy restroom. The park has lovely views and a small water park with a fun slide for kids. Picnic tables and benches are scattered around, too.

The condo at the town plaza was clean and quite spacious, and we had a very nice stay. I was disappointed that the hot tub was in a separate building, which made going to it less appealing. The staff were nice, but didn’t seem very eager to go beyond the basics. Our ski locker was really dirty, and we had to insist before they cleaned it. Otherwise, I’d recommend the place.

Simona was an attentive server at All seasons grill in Whistler Village. The chicken burger is the best, and the pulled pork burger is messy in a good way. The chicken wings were great, too. A must-visit restaurant if you’re in Whistler Village.

Our first night was taken up by these problems, and the only offer was a later checkout. The sheets were covered in stains and holes, and the kitchen cloths still had food stuck to them, clearly left from the previous guest. The TV didn’t work. A maintenance person spent over an hour trying to fix it, so we couldn’t leave, then realized it needed a new box and had to return the next day. Since nobody came to replace the sheets, he offered to get them, but I ended up changing them myself at 11 pm. They also failed to tell the cleaners about our late checkout, and the cleaners woke us up before we explained it. This was the worst experience we’ve had in Whistler. Don’t stay here.
