Getting around from here was easy: the building opens onto Whistler Olympic Plaza, with dining, shops, a kids' play area, the ski gondolas, and plenty of walking routes nearby. Fresh Street Mkt was handy for groceries, too. Main Street was relatively quiet even though we were right in Whistler village. We rented two units and both suited our family well. #308 had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a loft, with room for six adults. #208, just downstairs, had two bedrooms and two bathrooms but no loft, which worked well for the couple with young children. The suites were comfortably furnished, with cozy stone gas fireplaces and full kitchens stocked with dishes, cutlery, baking dishes, glassware, linens, and more. Check-in and checkout were very easy with codes. There’s no front desk, but help is available by phone at any time if needed. We had a wonderful family stay and hope to come back.

The unit was spotless, well cared for, and supplied with everything we needed, right down to linens and cutlery. We loved our three nights at Tyndall Stone Lodge by Whiski. It’s right in the heart of Whistler, so getting to everything was easy. A real gem, highly recommend it.

I’d stay here again. It’s clean, comfortable, and felt safe, with food and shopping right in the village and the ski entrance about a 10-15 minute walk away. Our room looked out at the Olympic rings and a cute little ice rink behind them. The rink music gets really loud if you’re hoping to rest during the day, though it stops by 8:30pm. You might also hear people passing and talking at night, so light sleepers may want earplugs. The Venetian blinds may let in too much light, so portable blackout curtains could help.

Our birthday was completely ruined. We paid 890 cad for the night and ended up out on the street without check-in details. Booking.com said the deposit would be requested when we arrived, but the property wanted all our credit card details in advance and wouldn’t send the check-in information otherwise. When we tried to reach them, we got random automated replies that didn’t answer our questions. Later they tried to charge us 500$, even though their policy said 300$. The worst experience, and our day was absolutely wrecked.

After we booked, no check-in details came through. Then they asked us to send credit card information in an unsecured way, which felt suspicious to us. A reputable hotel shouldn’t need those details outside a secure payment system. The situation disrupted our vacation and ruined the day. We didn’t want to take the risk, so we found somewhere else to stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone concerned about protecting their money and personal information.
