The breakfast restaurant was 5/5. They gave us four vouchers so everyone could eat, and the food came quickly, tasted good, and was served by a very kind staff member. The desk staff were friendly and helpful, and even called to check how things were going, which I haven’t had at a hotel in the past two years. Our room was clean and functional, with a coffee machine, fridge, and TV. It was a little small for four, and I wish they’d provide more towels for groups bigger than two. We were near the quiet end, which worked well for our dog. Overall, a good visit and we’d stay again.

An unexpected problem with our vehicle left us stressed and needing a hotel, but we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The room was clean and nice, with a comfortable bed, and we could choose from a few breakfast options at check-in. The bartender in the sports lounge was very friendly, and the ladies who checked us in and made sure we were happy with the stay were amazing.

Clean, affordable, and a charming little hotel in an easy-to-reach spot. The staff were excellent and attentive, taking time to listen to what I asked for. It was my first overnight stay in Whitecourt, Alberta, and it was not bad at all.

The team’s warmth made my stay pleasant. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, attentive, and eager to help, giving the place a welcoming charm. The hotel is a bit outdated, and the rooms and facilities could use modernization, but the staff more than make up for it.

I couldn’t wait to get out. The hallways were dark and dingy with a musty smell, and the room was awful. The carpet smelled old and dirty, and I wouldn’t put my socks or bare feet on it. There were cheap generic coffee pods, and I didn’t trust the cleanliness enough to eat there. The parking lot hadn’t been cleared and had huge ice ruts and holes, so it seemed suitable only for 4x4s. The door latch plate was held on with clear tape. There wasn’t a free outlet to charge my phone, and the power bar was full. Turning on the microwave while the TV was running meant resetting it.
