Midnight Sun Inn

Our group used two of the Midnight Sun Inn properties to fit everyone in, and both worked really well. The three-bedroom home and the upstairs of the main building had excellent sleeping space, with lounge and living areas big enough for us to gather. The location is convenient for getting to downtown. The people at the Inn have done a great job making comfortable rooms for guests.

Our plans to stay in Watson Lake changed at the last minute, so we drove four and a half hours to Whitehorse instead. The host was kind, flexible, and understanding, and made the place feel warm and welcoming when we arrived. After a long travel day, he even offered my younger sister some of his food. He also made sure each guest had arrived safely at the Inn, which I really appreciated. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and my sister and I slept well. The checkout instructions were clear and straightforward. I recommend this place if you’re passing through.

The host and manager was fantastic, and the room was modern, quiet, and very clean, with a great bed and bathroom. Guests can also use a roomy living room and a very nice kitchen. For $130 CAN, it’s a great location and a really nice place at a very reasonable price. I booked through the Booking.com website. This place deserves its five-star rating, and we definitely won’t stay anywhere else!

As someone who travels for work often, I’ve enjoyed staying at Midnight Sun Inn in Whitehorse. Each visit, the rooms are spotless and well kept. They’re thoughtfully laid out, with a good mix of space and comfort for relaxing or getting work done. The staff are professional, friendly, and always ready to help, which adds a personal, welcoming feel. They take pride in the details, and I’m looking forward to coming back again and again.
