Having a real person in the office was a nice touch, especially with so many motels using digital check-in now. Our room was roomy, clean, and comfortable. We were also close to an intersection on the Trans Canada Highway, where we found a great breakfast the next morning. I’d booked this place before we set out on the Cabot Trail, and was glad we stayed. I just wish breakfast were included on site.

A tire repair unexpectedly threw off our plans, so we couldn’t reach our first place on the trail. Christena welcomed us and kindly found room for us, and Diane and the rest of the staff were lovely and helpful too. The trip didn’t go as planned, but we’ll remember the kindness we were shown. Thank you again.

There’s no extra charge for bringing my doggos, which I loved. The office staff were friendly and knew their stuff. Rooms are super clean and well equipped, with a kettle, toaster, microwave, and small fridge. It’s just off the Trans Canada.

It can be tough to find a place that lets us travel with two large breed dogs, so I appreciated the dog friendly amenities here. The staff were lovely, the location was great, and the view was beautiful. Our spacious suite had a comfortable bed, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee pot, and toaster. It was just right for our two night getaway. Thanks!

We spent five nights here and the cleaning team really looked after us, bringing fresh towels daily and making the beds. The rooms were clean, the location was great, and everyone on staff was so friendly. There’s a little playground and a big trampoline that the kids loved. La Bel France Cafe is just down the road and was the best spot for coffee and food.
