Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Belleville

The room heating unit was the only thing I didn't like. It's really loud and blasts either freezing or super hot air, switching on and off constantly as it tries to reach the set temperature. Otherwise, the rooms and bathrooms are large, the pool is nice, and the room has a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Staff are friendly, the hotel is very clean, and breakfast has an excellent selection. I'd stay again.

The room was tidy, very clean, and a good size. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was excellent. I loved the strawberry waffles. It's just off the 401, with a McDonald's right next door, about a two-minute walk for a quick bite. I'd stay again.

I have Stage 4 lung cancer and had booked a room for the night before a bone scan. Bad weather was forecast, so we waited to see whether it arrived before driving the 2+ hours from home to Belleville. The storm began shortly after 11 am. After calling the hospital about changing my scan, I called the hotel to say I couldn't travel in that weather. They reminded me of the 24-hour cancellation rule and said my card would be charged for the room. I explained what was happening and my health issues, but the person said rules are rules and that was too bad. He confirmed he'd still charge me for the night even if I were hospitalized because of my illness. There was no compassion and no exceptions. As a cancer patient with many appointments, and because we live out of town, Fairfield will apparently get our future business. Hilton, we're done with you.

This was my first stay at a Hampton Hotel, and I was impressed. The rooms were spacious, bright, updated, and clean, with comfortable beds and a large walk-in shower. All areas of the hotel were kept very clean. Breakfast had a good selection, the food was hot, and staff kept up with refilling everything. The front desk team welcomed us, were super friendly, and were great with my dog. Everyone I met had a smile. There was lots of grass and room to walk the dog, too. I'll definitely come back and am happy to recommend this place. Please keep doing what you're doing :)
