Holiday Inn Winnipeg South by IHG

We were happy with the clean room and comfortable pillows, and the parking was good. Breakfast had lots of options and was great. The location seemed safe to me, too. Staff were welcoming and kind. We needed extra towels, and our room didn't have a remote for some reason, but someone brought one right away. There was a soccer tournament going on, so too many kids for us to enjoy the pool. Still, I have nothing bad to say.

The only low point was checking out. It felt slow and a bit confusing on Tuesday morning, February 10. The young woman across the desk and I misunderstood each other, which can happen, but a smile or a little more consideration would have made it easier. Aside from that moment, the staff were friendly, and you can tell the hotel is being run with care. My check-in was quick and smooth, and I was acknowledged right away as an IHG member. The room was clean, well organized, and practical, with a spotless washroom and no unpleasant smell. The common areas were clean too, even in winter when entrances and halls can get messy. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast area was comfortable, clean, and organized. I'd stay again for the cleanliness, comfort, and solid value.

The restaurant stood out for its fresh, nicely presented food, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service. Housekeeping also did an excellent job, keeping the rooms spotless and well maintained with thorough, consistent cleaning. Front desk staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They made us feel welcome throughout our wonderful stay. It's a very comfortable hotel with a high standard of service, and we'd happily return and recommend it.

The view from our window was absolutely beautiful, and the location was really convenient. Our room was cozy, warm, and clean, and the front desk team were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We were especially impressed by a young man at the desk whose name we unfortunately didn't catch. He speaks English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and was very professional while going above and beyond to help us sort out an issue. Thank you for the wonderful time. We highly recommend this hotel.
