Ryzen at reception was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right during my stay. Her positive attitude and genuine care really stood out. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I'd recommend this hotel for its service and pleasant stay, and would gladly return.

The pool wasn't big, but it was enough for me and my baby son to enjoy while his dad was away for work. One night I called to complain about noise, and it wasn't fully resolved, though it was fine. I booked on Booking.com with filters for breakfast included and a pool. At breakfast, though, the only option for my baby and me was to order à la carte from the restaurant menu. After we paid nearly $35, the front desk told me breakfast was “available,” not included, even though our reservation clearly said “breakfast is included in the price.” I showed the attendant, and she kindly gave my partner and me $20 breakfast vouchers for two of our four nights. I'm still a bit unhappy that we had to pay more than once for breakfast, even though it was fantastic. The eggs were outstanding, and the servers and woman day manager were especially lovely. Thank you to them.

The people made the stay for us. Ryzen and the ladies at Manoomin Restaurant were friendly, accommodating, and easy to talk to. The rooms and facilities were spotless and felt luxurious, so everything was much more comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant, dependable place in Winnipeg with such great staff.

Being asked to leave the Café and hotel in front of other guests was deeply humiliating. The Restaurant Supervisor made that decision, and the Director of Food & Beverage upheld it, but nobody gave me a reason. I found the public handling of it unprofessional and completely lacking in hospitality.

The hotel itself was okay, but eating at the restaurant was a gamble. Our waitress took a very long time to get our drink and food orders, and my crepes arrived cold. They should at least be warm. I waited ages for her to come back so I could complain, then she offered a replacement. My husband finished his meal while I waited, but nothing else came, so I left hungry. They didn't even refill our coffees, then tried to charge me $10 for food I never received. The restaurant service was abysmal.
