Super 8 Winnipeg West

Lily really helped us out over Grey Cup weekend. I'd booked the wrong dates by mistake, choosing the following weekend, and the hotel was completely full. When a cancellation came through, she found us a room that evening and helped us cancel the reservation for the next week. She also cared enough to help us find somewhere else to stay, which we appreciated a lot. The rest of the staff were great at check-in, too. Breakfast was very good and the beds were comfortable. It's nice to know there are such good people around, and I'd recommend the hotel to others.

We spend around 20 nights a year in motels, so we have a fair bit to compare it with. This Super 8 was quiet, clean, and a very good value. The front desk staff were pleasant, and breakfast had a lot of variety and was well above average. We also appreciated the hot soup at the end of the day and the free overnight charge for our electric vehicle while driving across Canada. I only have good things to say about our stay, and we'd definitely come back.

We needed somewhere pet-friendly for a day while spray foam insulation was being done at our house, and we had two kitty cats with us. This Wyndham Super 8 had what we needed. The place was clean, the front desk staff were amazing, and the complimentary breakfast was just right. The woman looking after the breakfast area did a great job too. Great service, convenient, and an amazing price. I'd highly recommend it. Thank you!

I went to the west Winnipeg location for a week of business in November, and was surprised by how clean and well cared for everything was. There were lots of day staff around looking after the hotel, and you could really see the difference. The staff were helpful and friendly, and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Kudos to the management and owners. I'm an independent business person and watch costs, so this worked well for me. It felt like a much higher star level than a 3-star hotel, with real attention to detail. The only drawback was being a bit far from the central area where most of my meetings were, though Winnipeg is an easy mid-sized city to get around. This brand has two Winnipeg locations owned by the same people. Super 8 may be called a budget brand, but this hotel didn't feel budget at all. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Congratulations.
