Travelodge by Wyndham Winnipeg East

I enjoyed my stay from Feb 16 to 18th, and was glad that my scent allergies weren't set off by strong fragrances. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the whole hotel was clean. We had a good time, and I think I'll return. Travelodge wasn't my original plan. I was going to stay at the Super 8, but its pool and hot tub were out of order. I considered Canada inns, then chose Travelodge because I like pools and hot tubs. The poolside room suited me, and both the pool and hot tub were a good temperature and a nice size. The room and hallway could use renovation. For breakfast, it would be nice to have whipped cream and frozen fruit for the waffles, plus hard-boiled eggs. The coffee could also be a bit stronger. Thanks for the great stay.

The pool and hot tub were great, and having them to ourselves was even better. I stayed for a week, and the staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Breakfast was awesome, too. It's an older building, but the rooms have been reconditioned, and there wasn't the musty smell you'd expect from an older place. The staff are doing it right.

The staff were amazing, and our spacious two queen room was very clean with terrific beds. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, and the breakfast staff kept everything clean and topped up. The pool and hot tub area had a lovely tropical feel, lots of space to sit and visit, and fresh towels were always available. The jetted jacuzzi was fantastic. The pool was very warm, just as I was told. I didn't try the sauna because it smelled a little musty. Thanks for making our Black Friday girls' Christmas shopping so enjoyable. See you next year.

I drove five hours and was still denied the room after paying by credit card. I asked whether there was anything else I needed to know or a deposit, and they said no, they had my card. They never mentioned the $200 minimum. After paying for the room, I had only $150 left on the card. I even had a friend with a credit card ready on the phone, but they said the card had to be there in person. Then they refused to give my money back. Worst place I've ever been to. The staff weren't helpful and didn't give me the information I needed.
