Jason and his staff took care of everything, and the rooms were spotless, new, and high tech. They even have some very cool rooms for kids. The restaurant serves great food, and there's lots nearby, including other restaurants, shopping, and Polo Park Mall. It's also handy for getting to the airport, with shuttles in both directions, so there's no need to get up hours before check-in. The large parking lot is free, and staff patrol it for security. There are spaces for business events of all sizes, from big event rooms to private corporate rooms for smaller meetings and conferences. They can also host weddings, whether you want a huge celebration or something more intimate. A convenient place for business or a getaway, with service for travelers and events of all sizes. Check them out and see what they can do.

I felt completely unheard, like they just didn't care. After my son got stuck in the bathroom for ten minutes, the front desk didn't seem to grasp the urgency when I called twice. I had to ask them to send someone. He eventually got the bent lock open himself. Maintenance arrived right after, but basically implied it was our fault, saying this happens a lot to kids. They couldn't repair it, so the bathroom door still wouldn't lock. At 2 a.m., someone knocked. I thought it might be security, but when I opened the door a crack, a man who wasn't security tried to come in. I shut and locked it quickly and added the extra lock. I was trying to stay calm for my son, so I went back to lie down. With how the evening had gone, I didn't think to call the desk then. At checkout I raised all of it with a manager. She was emotionless, gave a generic apology, and agreed with maintenance that the bathroom locks were a known issue. I got a $25 refund. I'd stayed here before and it was decent, but I won't return or recommend it. I'd give the place zero.

The gym was the biggest letdown: most of the equipment was broken, so I had to go downtown to the YMCA to work out. The pool and hot tub were pretty dirty, and the showers had low water pressure. It's a rundown hotel, though it's close to the airport and has a free shuttle. I was in Winnipeg for a conference and wouldn't recommend staying here.

The executive queen suite was absolutely perfect, and the pool was warm, shallow, clean, and a lot of fun. There were plenty of kids, which was great for our little ones, and all the slides were a blast. We stayed Monday through Thursday during Ontario March Break and really enjoyed ourselves. My gripe is that breakfast wasn't included. We paid quite a bit for the room, so that was disappointing. Not sure we'd come back without a continental breakfast, though otherwise it was a wonderful, clean, fun hotel.

We spent two days at the pool and ate either at the restaurant or through room service. The food was great, and the portions were huge. Our room was spacious, and we loved the open shower. Some hallway floors were being repaired, but the rest of the hotel was clean and in order. We came from Saskatchewan for a family getaway and will definitely be back.
