The restaurant food is quite good, and the breakfast buffet is fine. The room was a decent size, with a good bed, though the furnishings weren’t very modern. Cleaning was average. The hotel is in the city center, in Gombe.

For a business trip to Kinshasa, the location works well since it’s near most places a business traveler is likely to need. The restaurant’s food is high quality and very good. Just be aware that, like many things in Kinshasa, it may seem expensive if you’re visiting for the first time.

The breakfast was good, but espresso and the other coffee options don’t start until around 7:00 to 7:20, which is kind of ridiculous. The rooms are a good size, and the hotel is simple and clean in the town center. My only other issue was all the mosquitoes in my room at night, though that’s pretty standard in Kin’!

The room was fair for the price, and the location works well in all respects. The breakfast selection was very good, and both lunch and dinner were good too. The place was neat and clean, and the staff behaved well. I’d recommend it for mid-range personnel.

Breakfast was great, and the chef was amazing. The rooms, though, were dark. I’d suggest choosing a front room, as otherwise there’s a long path to reach them. Water dripped from the air conditioner, so I had to put a bucket underneath. I also found mosquitoes and complained. The concierge said I must have left the window open, even though I hadn’t used the room yet. Later they said they had spray I could use. I asked how I was meant to use that, and where the mosquito nets or coils were, but got no real answer, then silence. There were blood stains on the sheets. When I called the concierge, they suggested they might be from a mosquito bite the day before, but I’d only moved in that day. They eventually changed the bedding. Don’t pay extra in advance unless you’re prepared to chase a refund. I’d overpaid at check-in for planned lunches and meetings, but didn’t use the full amount. Even though I asked about it ahead of time, following up for the refund was a real challenge.
