The new restaurant l'etage has lots to choose from, including sweet cakes and French specialities. The food is excellent, and chef ismael is an amazing Lebanese chef at the snack restaurant. Thanks so much for the great food at l'orchidee hotel.

I spent about six months at this hotel, and had problems throughout. Things went missing, including money and cosmetics, and laundry came back damaged, discolored, or never came back. Reported issues like broken air conditioning or no hot water could take five days to fix. On my last stay, the internet was down for a month, so I had to go downstairs to get connected. The water heater is noisy in top-floor rooms, and in the new section you could get a room with no daylight. The staff steals whatever they can.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the adjoining tea room is a pleasant spot with good Wi-Fi. The hotel's in the city center, but the room was average and the decor poor. The pastries and viennoiseries were very average too. The staff are a must-visit.
