The room and bed were lovely, and the pillows were super comfortable. It's a great spot by the river in the old center, and I'd happily come back. I took off a star because there was no fridge, or even an ice machine. As a frequent traveler, I need to buy drinks and food at the grocery store to stay within budget, and without somewhere cold to keep them, that was harder.

I slept really well here because the room was quiet and had excellent protection from the sun through the window. I can't sleep if a room isn't properly dark. I was in room 208, which has a double bed, though unfortunately my husband couldn't come with me. The fresh brown bread was delicious, and the coffee was good too. I especially love their cappuccino. Good food and perfect service. I really recommend this hotel.

The rooms are spacious, and breakfast was very good. I enjoyed my stay every day except Sunday evening, when all the staff had gone and both the internet and TV stopped working. They fixed it the next day. Great hotel.

So far, this is my favorite hotel in Aarau. It's at the bottom of the old town, facing the river, and the comfortable rooms are nicely furnished and thoughtfully laid out. There are USB ports beside the beds.
