The restaurant has a warm, nicely decorated interior, and the visible pizza oven is a nice touch. We were a group of around 10 meeting up in the evening. The prices were reasonable, and the pizzas were decent, though they came out quickly with soft, slightly sloppy dough. Our orders were repeatedly wrong, and the server was brusque and not very welcoming. After going back and forth a few times, we gave up trying to get things changed and ate food we hadn't specifically ordered. Expect decent pizza, but below-par service.

I was happy with everything until checkout. At 9 o'clock, there was nobody at reception, so I left the key on the desk and drove off. Then I remembered I still owed the tax and drinks. I was already 50km away from the hotel on the Autobahn, so I pulled over and called to ask how to pay. They wanted my full credit card details, including the security code, over the phone, or I had to drive all the way back. They couldn't send me a receipt or anything, and they didn't have PayPal. I wasn't comfortable giving my card details by phone, so I had to drive 50km back to pay 20€. It made me really mad that I had to drive about 100km for a 20€ transaction in 2024!!!

An old-fashioned, traditional hotel with a clean room for the night. We stayed here so we could get an early start for the Gotthard tunnel.

The hotel is in a lovely spot just in front of the station, with parking nearby too. We had a very nice meal, and the service was great. We arrived just as the kitchen had closed, but they still let us order pizzas, which were delicious. The dining room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and quick.

After a long journey, we stopped here for dinner with our two boys. We got a very friendly welcome, and the pizzas and lasagna were perfect. I'd highly recommend it!
