After more than two years, it’s reopened under new management, and wow, what a welcome. The service was very friendly, the menu well balanced, and the wine list good, with a slight French influence. The food looked beautiful and was a real treat, and the atmosphere was very appealing. Highly recommended. SUPER, KEEP IT UP!
Really good food.
The first Advent brunch at the Landgasthof Hirschen was a real treat. The hosts were so friendly and spoiled us with the food. There was nothing missing from the brunch, and the setting was lovely, with very reasonable prices. A memorable experience. We’ll definitely return!
I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. The hotel is right beside the main road, so cars make constant noise outside the window. The bed squeaks with every small movement. And the bathroom was unbelievable: no towel on the floor, and the bathtub curtain was filthy.
We had a successful Christmas dinner, with friendly and attentive service throughout. The appetizer buffet was so good I could happily have kept eating and probably ordered more. For the main course there was tender, pink roasted beef entrecôte or dumplings with prunes and a top-quality wild mushroom ragout. We finished with a selection of delicious desserts, all in a sophisticated dining atmosphere.
