The location is a bit out of the way for skiing. It’s a walk to the nearest gondola, and the buses don’t come often, though you can wait for one. Still, I’m pretty happy with the stay and would recommend it if you want the feel of a local Swiss chalet. It’s in a residential area, a little walk from the main centre, so it gave me a taste of living like a local. The room was cute and rustic, and the host was friendly and helpful. It’s a small, cute bed and breakfast in someone’s home. Breakfast was adequate, just what you need in the morning.

We had a perfect short ski week in Andermatt. The beds were good, the hospitality was great, and breakfast was lovely. They even had a dry car in the garage.

A decent place to stay for skiing in Andermatt. Breakfast is included, but there’s no way to cook for yourself apart from using a microwave.
