The team arranged an early breakfast for us when we had to leave before regular service began, and they also sorted out easy access to secure parking nearby. Parking is close, and the location is central. We really enjoyed the room, the service, the food, and the drinks during our two-night stay. River House is a charming boutique hotel with a genuine, modern feel and lots of thoughtful touches. You can tell the owners have put a lot of love into it. I’d thoroughly recommend it.

We felt right at home here. Kevin and Sarah are gracious hosts, and the rest of the staff are excellent. The bar and kitchen on site serve exceptional homemade food and drinks. It’s an easy walk to either ski area, and all the great restaurants in the town centre are walkable too. No stuffiness or one-upmanship. We’ll definitely stay again, highly recommended.

My son and I had a great first ski trip in Andermatt here. The breakfasts were delicious, the restaurant had a cool vibe, and the staff were kind and very helpful. The price was very reasonable for such a beautiful hotel. It’s right in the middle of town, roughly between Nätschen and Gemsstock. We could walk quickly to either gondola, or take the free shuttle when we were worn out after skiing. We’d come back anytime!

The whole family enjoyed our stay. The hotel has plenty of character and charm, and we liked listening to the water from our room. We had a great dinner and breakfast there too. Parking was provided off-site, with clear instructions, which we appreciated.
