We only stopped for lunch on the outside terrace. The location is good, and service was friendly and quick. My Käseschnitte was a complete disaster: drenched in white wine, with totally soggy bread and cheese that hardly tasted of anything. A shame for a place in Switzerland. My companions' Rösti was tasty, though, no complaints there.

We only tried the restaurant, and it was fabulous. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were nice. The menu was the highlight: we really enjoyed food that felt like it came from a Michelin restaurant. I can definitely recommend it.

We spent three nights in Grimentz and came here for dinner on our last evening. The meal was outstanding, and the service was great. They had a special starter of ibex with cranberry sauce, served as a small portion, and the sauce was amazing. I usually stick to fish and rarely eat meat, but I shared it with my husband. It was one of the best things I've ever tasted. There were vegetables on the plate too, and I used them to soak up that delicious sauce. If the hotel is run as well as the restaurant, this is the place to stay.
