The chefs made amazing food, and the rest of the staff gave us great service. But the tall, mostly bald man in the blue shirt running things tonight was the rudest person I've been served by in years. What he said was incredibly disrespectful. I won't repeat it here, and I feel sorry for his staff.

They cancelled our room without telling us, then blamed us for it. We were treated poorly, and the work ethic was extremely rude. Horrible.

Our reservation seemed to annoy the staff when we arrived. They couldn't find it in the system and acted as if that was our fault; their attitude stayed unprofessional all evening. The food was just as disappointing: each of our three pizzas had an overwhelming 5 cm layer of cheese, so they were impossible to enjoy. The gnocchi was soggy, and the “gorgonzola sauce” tasted like plain cream with no gorgonzola flavor. I never write Google reviews, but this restaurant left me no choice. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The ski lift is only a short walk away, and the hotel has a very spacious ski room with a small tool station. I stayed at Hotel Europe in Zinal last January and had a very pleasant visit. My room was quiet and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, gorgeous blankets, a roomy bathroom, and a balcony. The team were welcoming and helpful with all my questions and requests. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was convenient, and the meals were lovely. Thanks again to the Hotel Europe team. I'd gladly stay here again! Alex.
