A fantastic place for a ski tour in winter or a bike raid in summer, with great food and a great team. Getting there takes some effort, but once you're in, it's terrific. It's a special spot for insiders, with natural, spectacular alpine views in Wallis. Definitely worth a visit if you want to discover them.

A hotel with faded grandeur, in a special spot above St Luc. It looks lovely, and the atmosphere and staff are charming. The rostie was great.

We came up from Chandolin on foot and stayed for a couple of nights. The location is beautiful, with lots of well-marked hiking paths. It's a lovely, quirky hotel with fantastic service and excellent food. Half board included four courses, and the waiting staff were very attentive, especially Dylan.

The people here were welcoming and kind. We hadn't ordered much food, but they still let us eat our own food on the hotel terrace and refill our water supplies. A wonderful hotel.

The food was very good, and the old-fashioned feel gives the place a special vibe, almost like being in a museum. The rooms aren't isolated, so you can hear neighboring guests talking, and the showers and toilets are shared. It really does feel like stepping back in time.
