The spa was amazing, and we really enjoyed the tasty food at the Twist restaurant and the great breakfast. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the location was wonderful. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view. They’d put a cot in place for my son, with a teddy bear as a gift, which made him so happy. We enjoyed the stay a lot and will definitely come back.

Valsana was exactly what we wanted for a quiet September break before our first baby. Arosa was a lovely town to explore, and the hotel had the serene, interesting, luxurious feel we were after. The staff were so friendly, and the service was impeccable. We looked forward to breakfast each day, enjoyed the heated pool, and walked around exploring Arosa. I also joined a yoga class that welcomed me at six months pregnant. The gym was so clean and inviting. It was a magical stay for my husband and me, and we’d recommend Valsana to anyone.

My stay at the Valsana Hotel was a complete disappointment. I canceled seven days in advance, but was charged the full cost because I missed the deadline by just eight hours due to time zones. I tried reaching them by email and phone, hoping for a little flexibility, but got none. That strict policy and the hotel’s inflexible response show very little consideration for guests, and don’t fit with hospitality today. I wouldn’t recommend it. I can’t believe they wouldn’t show understanding when I canceled a week ahead and provided a medical certificate clearly explaining why I couldn’t travel. Life brings unforeseen circumstances. I also couldn’t accept their offer to reschedule, for reasons beyond my control. I sincerely hope they never face a similar situation and come to understand why flexibility and compassion matter.

The welcome at Valsana Hotel in Arosa was relaxed and friendly from the moment we arrived. The rooms are beautiful, with high-quality interiors and thoughtful design that balances comfort and elegance. My favourite spot was the colourful armchair in the lounge area. It felt like a little piece of paradise and was so Instagrammable, with armchairs, a table, and a balcony. The restaurant’s selection of high-quality, sustainable dishes was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and professional. Valsana Hotel Arosa is a real gem. Highly recommended, and we’re already looking forward to going back!
