The breakfast room and terrace were lovely, with a good selection of food, and the location was great. My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Jazz Hotel. Self check-in and check-out were easy and useful, and the staff were kind and welcoming. We liked the room's balcony. The only thing I'd change is the pillows, which were a bit too thin and soft for us.

Online check-in and check-out were simple, and you can collect your room key at any time. The location was good, about a ten-minute walk from the lake, and breakfast was okay. We didn't have air conditioning, just a fan, though I think the hotel description mentioned that. For stays longer than two days, a room with AC would probably be better. I'd still recommend Hotel Jazz.

The two outdoor terraces were a nice spot for breakfast or a drink, and the breakfast buffet was good. This hotel is close to the town center, with friendly, helpful staff and indoor parking. Our room was clean and up to date, with comfortable beds, though on the small side. We were very pleased with our stay.

The breakfast on the patio was good, and the reception ladies were really welcoming and helpful. It's an okay smart hotel. The room was fine, with a fan provided but no AC. The car park is tight, though it worked out okay.

We made good use of the Ticino Card we got at check-in during our two nights here in May. Our bus trip to Foroglio, in the back of the nearby Maggia Valley, was completely free. We like coming to this hotel for weekend trips to Ascona. Jazz music and posters fill the public areas, and there was even a picture on our bedroom wall. The mattress was quite hard, but everything was clean and we couldn't ask for more.
