The garden and rooms were lovely, and they had everything we needed. Everyone on staff was polite and really friendly. The meals were just okay, though there are plenty of restaurants in the village if the food isn't your thing. The website made the lake sound only a few minutes away, but the walk took a bit longer than that 😅.

We came for my teenage daughters' competition in Avenches, and the welcome was so warm. The place was clean and well organized. Since we had to leave before breakfast started, they kindly arranged an early breakfast for us, which was such a nice surprise. We'd happily stay again and recommend it. Thanks so much!

The location is okay, and the place itself is beautiful, though it doesn't feel like many people live nearby. The rooms were neat and very clean, with good beds, but they got really hot and there was no air conditioning. Service was good, although we didn't get enough towels.

We stayed here with school, and I really liked the hostel. Getting around was tough, though. My legs hurt from all the walking up and down. In room 101, where I stayed with my friends, the layout was awkward and we kept bruising ourselves or stubbing our toes. A bunk bed instead of the double bed would have fixed that.

The garden was okay and the salad buffet was fine, but a lot of the stay was frustrating. There was no heating in our room, the beds were small, the windows wouldn't shut all the way, and the shower drain didn't work properly. We also had to make our own beds, dinner was served late, and the price felt far too high. They charged us 3 francs for tea and coffee we hadn't even asked for, and the wifi didn't work.
