Tailormade Hotel Bab Bachenba Lach

We were a group of 32 staying for two nights, and most of the women in our group found the receptionist’s attitude rude. She was also handling breakfast, where she accused me of taking tea bags when I was only looking over the choices. As I put them back, she said irritably that she would do it herself. Then she told me I couldn’t get hot water from the coffee machine and had to use the separate hot-water machine. I’d lost my appetite by then, ate nothing, left my cup on the table, and hurried back to my room. The next morning I skipped breakfast in the lobby.

The rooms were huge and the location is strategic, but the receptionist wasn’t polite and didn’t smile. I asked nicely for a vacuum to seal my luggage packages, and she said they didn’t have one. In a hotel this big, there really wasn’t a vacuum I could use?

There’s a large COOP supermarket right beside the hotel, which made shopping convenient, but breakfast was a letdown. There were hardly any choices, and the service was average at best. When we arrived, the previous group was still there, leaving very few seats and no free tables, and the staff didn’t seem to manage it well. Just before breakfast ended at 10 a.m., I went down while checking out and asked to fill a small 500ml bottle with hot water from the restaurant dispenser. The staff member refused and told me to use the coffee machine in my room, saying there wouldn’t be enough hot water if everyone asked for it. The restaurant was already empty. I told her, “Your service is so bad,” and she just said, “Yeah.” That response left a really bad impression. Totally unacceptable service attitude.

My husband and I liked the location, especially since we have friends in Embrach, and the free parking was a plus. Perfect for a short stay. We’ll be back!
