We slept well, and the bed and duvet were really comfortable. The rooms are simple and have just the essentials. Check-in was easy to do yourself, with instructions available in several languages. There was a bottle of water and a small cookie on the bed, a thoughtful little touch. Breakfast was straightforward, with good coffee. The selection included lactose-free protein milk, gluten-free muesli, Swiss cold cuts and cheese, and several kinds of bread. A simple, no-fuss hotel.

There was no closet or safe in my room, just a metal shelf, six hooks, and three hangers, plus a spot for a suitcase. The desk was tiny, and its chair was stained. The shower’s multipurpose soap and shampoo bottle was empty, and the tissue box ran out after only five tissues. This is a bare-bones place: you check yourself in outside by encoding your own room key, there’s no lobby, barely any breakfast, and no staff. I wouldn’t choose it again.

Everything worked seamlessly with the no-staff setup, which felt like the future. The place was perfectly clean and cosy, in an excellent location, and breakfast was nice.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from: yogurt, muesli and cereals, ham and cheese, bread, coffee, and fruit juice. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and towels, shower gel, and a hair dryer were provided. It’s right in the town centre, and the self-check-in machine is available 24 hours and easy to use in lots of languages.

The breakfast was surprisingly good. The room was clean but extremely small, and the shower was in another room on another floor. Okay for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer.
